6:40AM The guys are about to go on a 10 mile run today. The girls are reportedly doing 8 and 9 miles. This run will differ from all others due to the fact that the run actually starts from the cabins and won't require a car ride! Talk about a wake up call!
9:30AM The mileage for the guys was 10, and the mileage for group one of the girls was also 10. The other group of girls did 9. That marks the last long run up in Big Bear for 2011!
1:00PM The activity for today is bobsledding! Let's see how that one goes!
5:00PM We return from our last afternoon run of the trip! Total miles for today: 13 miles for the girls and 14 miles for the guys!
7:30PM We're heading out to go bowling at the bowling barn! Maybe we can go laser tagging afterwards? Who knows? It's our last day in Big Bear!

9:30PM After waiting for over half an hour, we got all of the necessary lanes to go team bowling! Coach Santana rocked the second round with a cumulative score of 189! Go Santana! Now it's time for delicious root beer floats!

6:20AM Half of the team is still sleeping past the 6:00 wake up time, but we'll head out at 7:00 to run Gray's Peak. The run will be a 7 mile run that features an incline of 3.5 miles that leads all the way to the top.
10:30AM Both teams conquered Gray's Peak and are now relaxing in their cabins. Pancakes and fruit was for breakfast! Team meeting soon!
12:30PM Team meetings adjourned and both the girls' and the guys' teams are looking forward to a wonderful season.
5:00PM Tonight, we're having pizza for dinner! With a side of watermelon, our favorite!
6:00PM Our movie night begins as we watch I am Legend in the guys' cabin. The suspense was captivating and the to-be-run after is an exciting change.
8:00PM The team heads out for the night run!
9:30PM The run was a success and was quite the shocker! The boys ambushed the girls in the dark, while the girls tried to get revenge on Meghan at the end of the run! Everyone had glow sticks, but the run was still pitch dark, and full of fun.

10:54AM We just finished breakfast and the boys ran 7 miles this morning. The girls, 8 miles, and 7 miles. At 11:30, the team will be heading out to the lake to kayak.
1:30PM The team came back from the lake from a refreshing kayaking session! Coach Miller got capsized by Kevin Clack and Jared Rucker! Congrats!
4:00PM The girls and the guys embarked on a fast-paced 4 mile run around the cabin on Big Bear streets.
6:00PM Both the boys and girls teams travelled to a local park where they enjoyed volleyball, soccer, football, a bag race, tug of war, a nice barbeque, and S'MORES!

3:13 PM We just arrived at big bear about three hours ago, but just got to the cabin thirty minutes ago. The guys completed a 7 mile run after the car ride, and the girls completed a 5 mile run. The day was hot and the hills were tough!

5:34 PM The plan for the Big Bear trip is to have a competition between all of the runners! There are currently five teams and the competitions will include endurance, strength, and logic!
8:28 PM Athletes are relaxing in the cabins. The girls are watching a chick flick movie, while the guys are playing cards and singing to Kevin Clack's strumming!

The newly added Mustangs Webcam Feed is located as a link under the page, "Talk." What this live video feed will do is to share the experience of an event with other runners. One example would be the Big Bear High Altitude Training Camp. While runners up in Big Bear run, eat, sleep, and interact, when the live video feed is on, other runners can watch what's going on. There can be a question and answer session along with an interview or maybe even a tour of the cabins and surrounding areas. This is new feature and events will be posted when available. Future events so far is Big Bear High Altitude Training Camp, starting August 14th. Tune in to check out the Mustangs up in big bear!
